Funeral
services for longtime Lamar,
CO resident, Kenneth T. Pendergraft, age 92, will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday
August 13, 2008 at Valley Memorial Funeral Chapel in Lamar. Kathy Leathers will officiate
the service and burial will follow in Fairmount Cemetery
in Lamar.
Visitation
for Kenneth will be held from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Tuesday August 12, 2008
and prior to the service on Wednesday at Valley Memorial Funeral Chapel in
Lamar.
Mr. Pendergraft was born on November 10, 1915 in McDonald County, Missouri
and departed this life on Sunday August 10, 2008 at the Holly Nursing
Care Center
in Holly, CO.
Mr. Pendergraft was preceded in death by his father and
mother James T. Jacks and Inez Pendergraft; by
his wife Dorothy I. Pendergraft of Lamar on
July 20, 1999; by one daughter Betty Jones of Lamar on April 10, 2005;
and by one son Robert Thombs of Lamar on May
19, 2008.
He is
survived by one daughter Shirley (Jack) Wilson of Aurora, CO; by five
grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and nine great-great grandchildren;
also surviving are numerous friends.
Those

A graveside memorial service
for Norman, Oklahoma
resident, Elva June Tyner, will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday August 16,
2008 at the Hillside Cemetery in Granada,
Colorado.
Mrs.
Tyner was born on June 11, 1926 in Lamar, Colorado to Roy and Laura Frances (Souders) Eddleman and
departed this life on July 17, 2008 in Norman, Oklahoma
at the age of 82.
She was
preceded in death by her parents, husbands Raymond Haskell and Thomas
Tyner; by one brother; four sisters; and one granddaughter.
She is
survived by her children Richard (Linda) Haskell of Newalla, OK; Karla Richert of Norman, OK; Tim Tyner of Somers, AR; and Micki (Rick) George of Oktaha,
OK; by 11 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and one great-great
grandchild; by two brothers Cecil Eddleman and
Frank Eddleman both of California; by three
sisters Ruthie Karbeloh of Lowry City, MO; Lou
Pettit of Lufkin, TX; and Betty (Gary) Meninger
of Ft. Worth, TX; also surviving are numerous other relatives and friends.
